How to get

The visitor can arrive directly by road or by rail. By road, it can be reached via the A-7 freeway (exit number 4, Figueres south, if coming from Barcelona and exit number 3 if coming from France), the national road II and the N-260 coming from Portbou. As for the railroad, there are currently two stations: the station of the conventional line, which is located in the center of town, where all trains connecting with Barcelona and surroundings.

By Bus:

TGV trains arrive to the Figueres-Vilafant TGV Train Station, which is 1.5 km from the city center. In order to get to the city center, we recommend you use the city bus connecting the train station to the city center and get down at the "Plaça del Sol" stop. Buses are typically synchronized with TGV arrivals and departures, but at specific times of the day you may need to wait 30 minute (which you can spend in the cafe of the train station). Tickets can be purchased in the bus.
